We will be having our Christmas Service on Dec 24th in the Green Room (entry by the Diamond Harbour Rugby Club) from 4.30pm. All welcome. Come and sing some carols and celebrate the birth of Jesus together.

Persecuted Church – Nov 5
We are continuing our series on “One Another” and we are joining in with International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church on November 5th.
We would welcome any newcomers at 4.30pm in the Green Room (which is part of the community hall and shares a door with the Diamond Harbour Rugby Club). As usual, there is a creche for the under 4s and a Sunday school for the children and teens.
Guest Speaker – Carolyn Chisholm
Today we have a guest speaker from Christchurch, Carolyn Chisholm. She knows a number of people in our congregation. Please join us at 4.30pm in the Green Room (next to the Diamond Harbour Rugby Club). As usual we will have a shared meal to follow starting about 6pm.
One Another
We have just finished our amazing series on John and this week we have, John Thwaites, a senior pastor from South City C3 visiting this week. From Sunday October 8th we will begin a series on “One Another”. looking at how we relate to each other. We are entitling each one as a posture – reflecting that we actively position ourselves to have each of the attributes in our series. This is not a striving but rather to posture ourselves to receive and have the attributes flow in our lives.

Christmas Eve
Our Christmas Eve service will be at the Green Room (at the Community Hall – entrance next to the Rugby Club) at 10.30am. All welcome. Come and celebrate the birth of Jesus.
We won’t be meeting on Christmas Day and on Jan 1 will have a picnic lunch together on the lawn at Stoddart Point (by the carpark) starting at noon.
Sunday July 3rd
This week we will have a guest speaker, Steve Withington. Steve is a medical physician, who works at Ashburton Hospital and part-time on the ministry team at South West Baptist Church. He and his wife, Juan previously worked in Bangladesh. It will be great to have him share with us. All are very welcome. We will be meeting at 4.30pm in the Green Room and everyone is welcome to stay for a meal after. Looking forward to it!
Services Sunday 20th March
There will be two services this week at 4.30pm 20th March.
A vaccine pass service will be held at the Green Room (Waipapa Ave – next to the Rugby Club Rooms). Please wear a mask and there will be no meal to follow.
A non-vaccine pass service will be held at the Swaney’s house. Contact if you need further information.

The Vaccine Pass Service will not be held in person this week.
